The right Nutrition is the key to your body being in balance and performing as it should. For me personally, my joint pain was horrendous and I didn’t want to take medications that had worse side effects. My IDNutrition includes supplements for inflammation that have decreased the pain from a 10+++ to a 1 or 2. I had tried almost every over the counter products but nothing ever helped like this, the most I got was quick relief for maybe an hour then I was back to the same. See what your IDNutrition would look like.

Life is to short to miss out on the better things in life… like being able to walk without pain, spending time with the grand babies and doing more than sitting in a chair due to the pain…

Decision Making – Right or Wrong Way

How many times have you done this? How many times have you been undecided when it comes to your business or your life? Sooner or later you are going to have to make a decision, right or wrong.

Why do you put yourself through the pain and agony of self doubt? You know what you need to do, and then you start to second guess yourself.  Does this sound like you?

How about today you make a decision based on your ability to know whether it is right or wrong.

If you have felt compelled, or led to do something but the negative nagging about spending the money knaws at your stomach then

  • first, question why you are getting this feeling
  • next, question if what you are being led to do is from God or not
  • look at all the facts of what you feel led to do
  • make sure you can afford what you are seeking to do
  • talk to some of your closest advisors for advice

I have found that when God has led me to do something, and I go against it I get the nagging feelings. I have also found that when I am tight on money I tend to be hesitate to make that step out in faith to follow what I have been led to do.

When we started our Internet Radio Stations I had no intentions of working here, the reason was that I wanted to keep my nice paying job so that I could guarantee a flow of money as the business was getting started.  I didn’t want to be in a bind by having us both work at the same place relying on whatever we sold to survive.  I did not have complete faith in God at that time, to provide for my family, and I felt like by me keeping my job, I had security and an income to cover my family needs. However, God had other plans for me, I lost my job 1 week after we opened the office. For 3 months I pounded the pavement searching for another job, and then it hit me… God wanted me to be with my husband in our own business, a business that was built for spreading the Word of God around the world. Our first station was Apostle Internet Radio @ . It is the cornerstone of this company and the foundation. Once I excepted that this is where I am suppose to be, the station prospered. Today, over 7 years later, we are still in operation and we have never had to borrow to keep the doors open. God has always provided what we need, when we need it.

Take courage from my story and do what you feel you are led to do. God knows what He is doing and He knows your path.  Be Encouraged, Be Faithful and keep me posted on how it goes.

And most of all, don’t let money cause you fear. Fear is an ugly thing and it has crippled many people’s dreams and visions.

Why do good people suffer in business? In Life?

It is difficult to comprehend why some good people suffer badly in business and in life. People who are sincere, hardworking, compassionate and helpful do suffer due to various unfavorable conditions. Everyone expects that good deeds should be rewarded both by societies and by God. However, it does not always happen. How many times have you observed good people suffer due to bad health, stressful relation and financial crisis and then see someone who adopts manipulative practices flourish and gain in material possession and wealth. It makes us to lose faith in goodness and fair dealings.

The answers cannot be found by just limiting our existence to this life. At times, nature treats them unkindly by inflicting some physical ailment or other pain. While, we try to explain this by talking about luck and chance,  it does not explain the real issues affecting our lives.

The problem lies in expecting results of our actions to come in this life. It appears that in the divine scheme of things, the divine time frame is much large than our perception. God is the only one who knows our life, timeline and why things happen the way they do.  But as a God who gives us choice, it is our choices that directs the path we take.

In business we rely on our choices and decisions to make our business successful. When things don’t go as planned, the first person we blame is God.  He gave you the thought to start your business, you followed by opening your business and now, NOW when you need Him the most, the time when your business is in dire straits, He is not helping you…. Why won’t He listen? Why am I not getting any answers? Why did You put me in a position of near bankruptcy?

Yes, all of these thoughts run through your head. Some may even be said out loud… it’s ok. It’s a human reaction.

Then the health issues start to crop up, why me? Why am I going through this? I have lived a good life, taken care of my body, never smoked, drank …etc

Life is not about you. Life is about the purpose you were put on this world to do. Whether in business or in your personal life, your purpose was laid out for you even before you were born.  Have you searched for that purpose? Have you ask God what your purpose is.  Many people never realize how many lives they have touched over the years, how a smile from a stranger touched someone who was having a bad day, how a “how are you” made someone feel like they were visible, how a “good job” saved someone’s life who thought they were nothing, how a kind word to someone less fortunate gave them a reason for living.

Every waking minute of your day has touched someone in either a positive or negative way, and you can never take back that second in time. Make the most of your life, you have been placed here for a reason, with a purpose and a mission. Find out what your’s is and live your life regardless of the suffering.

In business or in life we are all going to suffer. Some more than others, some without a understandable reason, others knowing why they are suffering.

My question to you is…

What are you going to do? How are you going to handle the suffering?  God won’t make that chose for you, it’s up to you. Free Will….You chose!!

Who knows, the life you might change could be your own.

thought for the day

“May today there be peace within. May you trust that you are exactlywhere you are meant to be. May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith in yourself and others. May you use the gifts that you have received, and pass on the love that has been given to you. May you be content with yourself just the way youare. Let this knowledge settle into your bones, and allow your soul the freedom to sing, dance, praise and love. It is there for each and every one of us.”

Don’t let the world beat you down. Do what you need to do and make each minute count.

A wise person told me… it’s not who you know, but who know’s you! That’s where the truth comes from.

How many people’s lives have you touched?  I would love to hear your answers. What is your thought for the day?

How can you Restore Control in your life?

Set your Priorities to what is the most important

What’s truly important to you? Is it Money, your family, your friends, or maybe hobbies? The answer to this question should be how you prioritize your time for each one. Many of us see our job as simply a vehicle to provide the money to do what we like, for others, our job is our passion. Make sure that where you want to go in your life isn’t suffering because of misplaced priorities.  Compare your priorities with how you actually spend your time and money. If they don’t match, then you’re lying to yourself.  For me, my priorities are God first, me second, my family third and my job comes in fourth.

I have always put God first in my life, however my job was always next because I was raised to make sure my family was taken care of and my bills were paid. I lived this way for many years before I ended up in the hospital… by taking care of everything and everyone else, I did not take that good of care of me and it almost cost me everything.  That was the turning point of my life and my thinking.  I learned that if I take care of me, everything and everyone else could be taken care of. Set your priorities according to what you consider the most important in your life and not have a Lesson Learned… the hard way!!!

 Time Management

Is your time managing you? Are you managing your time?  Take control of your time by changing your focus and creating results.  Identify the must have and do’s of your time. Time for yourself (weekends or days off), time for the kids events (school play, sports etc…), time for the wife/hubby (cuddle time, date night).

The next thing you need to discover, what is taking you away from the things you say are important to you. Do you bring work home? Do you allow friends to call anytime just to say hey and catch up on gossip during the time that you have set aside for yourself or family?  How many times have you been watching a movie with your spouse or the family and received a phone call from a friend or someone from work and instead of asking them if you could call them back, you got up and talked to them, missing 30 minutes or longer of the movie. Is it worth it? Could it have waited? Are there alternatives…YES there is! Don’t compromise your special time, you can never get it back. The only exceptions… emergencies… and yes if they say it is, then it had better be.

Finally – stick to it.

Draw a line in the sand and learn that it’s ok to say “no“. Stop self-sabotaging your time management. If you don’t know how to tell someone no or not right now, then practice it.

For example,

“John, I understand that we did not get a chance to talk about it at work today, however this is the time I spend with my family, can we discuss it in the morning when I get in.”

“Mom, hi, is everything ok? Yes, Great… we are just in the middle of a movie, can I call you back after its over? Thanks..Love ya”

“Terri hi, is everything ok? Awesome, I am at Billy’s game can I call you back later?  Great thanks”

Find something that works for you and use it. Trust me the first time you put “you” first you will be bouncing off the walls. Why? Because you didn’t allow someone else, that you probably didn’t want to talk to anyway, mess up your planned evening, your personal time, or your quiet time.

So cut and dried, if you restore control of your life and get your priorities in order imagine the peacefulness you could find. Never think it is not worth it or that it won’t work. You and only you have the control.

Let me know what steps you have taken in restoring control in your life. Email me at . I would love to hear from you.

Oh! By the way!  This works professionally and well as personally. So don’t allow your work life to run amuck when you can use the same advice.
