Christian Motivation Let God be in Control!

cross500Christian motivation is a whole different ball game than the world’s idea of doing what you want with drive and determination. Christians should desire to please the Lord and not themselves or others.

As Christians, you should not be crowd pleasers, working for self glory, fame, applause, or fortune. “Know your why” for building your home based business and let God’s Word motivate you and lift you higher.

You want to be able to spend quality time with your family, have the ability to raise your kids in a Godly environment, have the finances to accomplish your goals and dreams, by owning your own business… and to create this you must also be willing to let God be in control.

Today you have the opportunity to take the world out of your business and put the Word in. (Take the “l” out of world) God is waiting for you to turn over the reins to Him and let Him be in control.

When you allow God to take control of all aspects of your life, you open the door to multiple blessings in your life, your home, your business and your well being. God is waiting on you!!  So take the reins in your hands and throw them into the air and let God grab hold of them!

If you never give God a try, you will never know the blessings He can bring to you. So why not give it a try, let God be in control and then sit back and see what kind of results you get.  The Word of God promises to take care of you. You need to have faith, trust in God and the willingness to listen to what God says.

1 Chronicles 29:12 Wealth and honor come from you; you are the ruler of all things. In your hands are strength and power to exalt and give strength to all.

Have a Blessed Day!

Marketing Tips when Launching a New Campaign

Here are a few marketing tips to keep in mind when you’re considering launching a new campaign.

  • Most businesses will get 80% of their sales from 20% of their customers. Know exactly who those 20% are and aim your advertising to that segment.
  • Research is a vital part of your marketing plan. Your effort should produce answers to who your prospects are, and where, why, when, and how they are converted into active buyers.
  • As your business grows, prepare a strategic marketing plan looking at how your product or service will meet the long-term needs of your customers.

Many get confused when it comes to launching a campaign because they don’t do the research before getting started. If you don’t have all the facts you are setting yourself up for failure or best yet, loss of $$$.

Don’t jump into the middle and expect everything to be perfect. Start at the beginning and know that you have strategically accomplished all the steps needed to be successful.

It’s not about Religion

It doesn’t revolve around what religion is or is not!                                                             It is about what relationship you have with God!

How you run your business is not about having or not having religion in it. It is about carrying God in your heart and your relationship with him that puts God in your business.  If you carry God in your heart and you are striving to do business the way you know it should be done, you will prosper!

So many people are afraid to let God in when it comes to business because they are afraid that it will somehow deminish the amount of business they receive.

If you truly believe and know in your heart that God is blessing you, stand proud and shout to the world that you, your house and your business believe in God!  The possibilities are endless when it comes to the blessings God will bring to you when you go against the worldly ways and stand for what you believe in.

If a person doesn’t come to your business because you believe in God, no worry…God will bring you 10 who will!

Be blessed and stand proud and let the world know that you have the best products, the best customer service, the best deals and the best of the best when it comes to bosses.  God is the owner of my business and I work for Him. How about you?

Advertising Process

Advertising is the process of persuading potential customers to buy products or avail of services being offered to them. The process of advertising involves a variety of strategies. Effective and continuous advertising is one of the most important functions of any successful business. It is imperative that the products or services of any business receive the proper exposure, and the way to achieve exposure is through advertising.

Whether it is on the national or local level, advertising campaigns are necessary to let people know about a business and its products. The goal of marketing is to target the segment of a population who has a special need for a particular product or service and finding ways to provide that product or service in the most effective means possible.

Advertisements may appear in many forms, including newspaper and magazine ads, radio and television commercials, direct mail campaigns, and various other forms. With the emergence of brand recognition as a key factor in marketing and advertising, companies have entered into multi-billion dollar contracts with advertising firms to promote their products and services.

These efforts have led to products becoming integral aspects of popular culture. The function of advertising companies is to professionally promote individual businesses and organizations. Advertising agencies are dedicated to the development of the most innovative and effective means of business promotion.

Even if you can afford major companies like corporations use, there are smaller advertising companies that can help you roll out a plan. Look in your local community for one closest to you and talk to them. Don’t be afraid to test the waters, talking doesn’t cost you money, implementing the plan is what cost. Be sure you scope out all options when it’s time to advertise. And don’t spend all your money in one place. A good plan, no matter how big or how small, uses multiple venue’s of media to be seen and heard. Weigh your options and put a plan into place.

How do you advertise your business?

No Time or Money to Market Their Business

I have more people tell me that they don’t have the time or the money to market their company.  This really angers me. Why are you in business if you have no time or money to market it, and then you blame everything except yourself when it fails.  So ready or not here is my response.

“If you build it, he will come.” may have worked in the movie Field of Dreams, but it doesn’t work in real life. You have to go out and market, market, market to get your business recognized, and in any type of business, that requires a lot of personal contact. So step up or get out!

Since the primary value of a customer today is the stream of business which will result from the chain of referrals – I would find people who know about your business and have them start talking long and hard about your services and your product. Word of Mouth is still a strong marketing tool and guess what IT’S FREE!

All of your advertising only brought in what you put out. You did not make a profit the first month, nor the second month. You have attended one fair for a relatively small company and nobody has scheduled with you. You spoke with approximately 12 people, but no appointments yet.  Ok did you really think that it was going to be this easy. How much competition do you have? Have you thought about trust? Building trust? It takes twice as much time to build a relationship with clients due to there being so many people doing the same things and the economy just plain sucks right now.   You have got to be out there daily networking, meeting with people and plugging your business just to get people to remember you.

It’s obvious that you don’t have the working capital to hold on until your business turns profitable, which would take a year or so – even if you had the funds to appropriately market it. My suggestion would be this if you want to continue in this business:

  • Get out and start introducing yourself to local area businesses. Be sure to have a flyer and a business card to leave at each place you visit.
  • Find businesses that could benefit from your product or service and build a relationship with them.
  • Find local networking groups and attend them so that you can make more people aware of your business.
  • Find more fairs/events to attend that will give you alot of exposure to the masses.

If this all fails, cut your losses.  You and only you know when the time is to move forward or get out. I just hope my suggestions help you.

Have a Blessed Day!

Stand Strong in Your Beliefs

Working as a Christian in the world today has many disadvantages. We are shunned, talked about, and outcast, all due to our standing strong in our beliefs in Christ. I say to you… Stand strong in your beliefs and don’t allow the worldly ways to sway you.

Be bold in all you do.  You need to focus on how you can demonstrate to customers that, no matter what goes on around the world, you can be trusted for who you are and for what you are. Mind you, trust isn’t something you can fake, you must be sincere. You must sincerely mean what you say and do!

There is no reason to be shy. As a fellow Christian I am not bashful about being a Christian. Those that know me do business with me because of what I stand for, (honesty, integrity, sincerity) not what I am.  I don’t shove my Christianity down my clients throats, yet my compassion shows when a client is having a hard time, needs to talk etc…

It’s all about being me! So be who you are regardless of where you’re at and who is there with you. God will Bless those that do not turn their back on Him. Whether it is business or personal, there is no distinction, our God is ready to bless and protect. So, be bold and be strong.

People are starving for relationships they can understand with people they can trust. Stand Strong in Your Beliefs! Bring it!

Unsure of what to do?

I have had a multitude of people asking me what we do and telling me they are unsure of what to do when it comes to marketing. With so many choices and so many scams, people don’t know which way to invest for their business. And many say that what they have researched is way to expensive. Others don’t know where to start. Some say they don’t have the time…

We can help you with most issues.

Here is what we cover:

Basic Social Media Management – We help you set up and maintain the 3 major social media platforms. Facebook, Linked In and Twitter. These should be maintained with 2 to 3 postings a day. We can set this up for you and show you how to post daily, with tools that make it easier. OR we can do it for you. I am currently managing 4 clients postings for them.

Marketing – We have been teaching clients for 7 years to market their business using the Internet, Social Media, Internet Radio, Print and Mobile text (recently) It is all about what best suits the clients needs per their business industry.  Yes, in response to those who have asked,  we do have Internet Radio and Website Marketing available. This is what we do!

Branding – Branding is by far one of the hardest/easiest to do. It is all about conforming your printed material to look the same. Whether it is Brochures, Business Cards, Logo’s, Promotional Products, or your website and social media pages.  Everything needs to look the same, and send the same message. Having a great tag line is also a part of the puzzle.

Advertising – This comes in many options. (We can consult with you and refer you on any of the following) (We cover Internet Radio and Website Advertising, Social Media Management, and Mobile Texting plus consulting in Marketing, Branding and Advertising.

  • Print – Newspaper, Magazines, Flyers
  • Radio – AM/FM, or Internet Radio (paid and free)
  • Internet – pay per click or set price, banners, articles (like Word Press), articles for online magazines, cross linking with others, website advertising
  • Mobile messaging – Texting with special offers
  • SEO – seach engine optimation

Everything has a cost attached. Your best bet is to search for the best pricing for what you receive and have a means to track it.

Tip for the Day –  When you do FREE, you get what you paid for. Most sites that offer free listings and free links have a very low rating for you being seen and less for you getting a response.  I personally learned the hard way. I was taught to get on any and every website I could put my ad or link on. My results were ZERO. The only thing I got from that was a lot of time wasted on my part.

If you have specific questions on what we cover I would be glad to blog on them. Just leave your questions in the comment section and I will address them as they come in.

In Today’s World it is Survival of the Faithful!

In today’s World it is survival of the faithful!

In Today’s World we are fighting just to survive in business. With economy in the grips of hell and families struggling to feed themselves, where do you turn for answers?

God has been and will always be my driving force! If not for having God in my corner, I would probably have closed the doors to my business a year ago. However my faith in God has been my saving grace. I know in my heart that God will provide and He has!

  • What is you faith structure?
  • Do you know that God is going to take care of you?
  • Do you believe that business will survive?
  • Do you know that the money you need will materialize?

Don’t allow the world to control you, your business or your life. Have the faith to believe that God will provide for all your needs! No Matter What!!
Being in the advertising business in a world where the economy is hanging on to every penny has been a challenge. However, though we have struggled we have survived and our bills have been paid.

That is due to our faith in God providing for our needs.

When Christians band together, each helping their fellow Christian, we form a united force. One that the world, the government cannot breakdown.  A force that is strong and will grow as we build our business and our lives around our belief in God.

How would 10 fellow Christians help your business?

How would 100 fellow Christians help your business?

Seek like minded people to grow your business and your faith. I work with many Christians who want to promote their business. I love helping those who believe as I do and who are striving to do the same things I am. Because of this I have helped them strengthen their business and their beliefs as well as survive in a world that is trying to suppress them.

If we band together as survivors of the Faithful we will overcome and conquer a world trying to erase us from existence.

Decision Making – Right or Wrong Way

How many times have you done this? How many times have you been undecided when it comes to your business or your life? Sooner or later you are going to have to make a decision, right or wrong.

Why do you put yourself through the pain and agony of self doubt? You know what you need to do, and then you start to second guess yourself.  Does this sound like you?

How about today you make a decision based on your ability to know whether it is right or wrong.

If you have felt compelled, or led to do something but the negative nagging about spending the money knaws at your stomach then

  • first, question why you are getting this feeling
  • next, question if what you are being led to do is from God or not
  • look at all the facts of what you feel led to do
  • make sure you can afford what you are seeking to do
  • talk to some of your closest advisors for advice

I have found that when God has led me to do something, and I go against it I get the nagging feelings. I have also found that when I am tight on money I tend to be hesitate to make that step out in faith to follow what I have been led to do.

When we started our Internet Radio Stations I had no intentions of working here, the reason was that I wanted to keep my nice paying job so that I could guarantee a flow of money as the business was getting started.  I didn’t want to be in a bind by having us both work at the same place relying on whatever we sold to survive.  I did not have complete faith in God at that time, to provide for my family, and I felt like by me keeping my job, I had security and an income to cover my family needs. However, God had other plans for me, I lost my job 1 week after we opened the office. For 3 months I pounded the pavement searching for another job, and then it hit me… God wanted me to be with my husband in our own business, a business that was built for spreading the Word of God around the world. Our first station was Apostle Internet Radio @ . It is the cornerstone of this company and the foundation. Once I excepted that this is where I am suppose to be, the station prospered. Today, over 7 years later, we are still in operation and we have never had to borrow to keep the doors open. God has always provided what we need, when we need it.

Take courage from my story and do what you feel you are led to do. God knows what He is doing and He knows your path.  Be Encouraged, Be Faithful and keep me posted on how it goes.

And most of all, don’t let money cause you fear. Fear is an ugly thing and it has crippled many people’s dreams and visions.

Christian Marketing

Are you looking for the proper Christian marketing strategies that it will take to help you market your business? The key that you need to pay close attention to, regardless of whether you’re a Christian or a non-believer, you should always market your business with integrity and ethics.

Using Christian marketing strategies in your business – realize that you don’t have to become a bible pusher when marketing to your prospects. You don’t have to quote scripture and plaster Jesus all over the place to get your point across. Whatever is in your heart, just go with it and don’t worry about what other people think. There are so many who believe that you have to market God and that’s just not true. If you behave in a way that is “Christ Like”, when speaking to a business owner about marketing, they will listen.

You don’t have to be over the top and you don’t have to quote scripture. If you behave in a way that God created you to be, loving, caring, compassionate, and respectful, you will have a better opportunity to share (not sell) what you are promoting.  If you haven’t tried it…. when you do let me know.

Blessings and God Look!
