Christian Motivation Let God be in Control!

cross500Christian motivation is a whole different ball game than the world’s idea of doing what you want with drive and determination. Christians should desire to please the Lord and not themselves or others.

As Christians, you should not be crowd pleasers, working for self glory, fame, applause, or fortune. “Know your why” for building your home based business and let God’s Word motivate you and lift you higher.

You want to be able to spend quality time with your family, have the ability to raise your kids in a Godly environment, have the finances to accomplish your goals and dreams, by owning your own business… and to create this you must also be willing to let God be in control.

Today you have the opportunity to take the world out of your business and put the Word in. (Take the “l” out of world) God is waiting for you to turn over the reins to Him and let Him be in control.

When you allow God to take control of all aspects of your life, you open the door to multiple blessings in your life, your home, your business and your well being. God is waiting on you!!  So take the reins in your hands and throw them into the air and let God grab hold of them!

If you never give God a try, you will never know the blessings He can bring to you. So why not give it a try, let God be in control and then sit back and see what kind of results you get.  The Word of God promises to take care of you. You need to have faith, trust in God and the willingness to listen to what God says.

1 Chronicles 29:12 Wealth and honor come from you; you are the ruler of all things. In your hands are strength and power to exalt and give strength to all.

Have a Blessed Day!

Stand Strong in Your Beliefs

Working as a Christian in the world today has many disadvantages. We are shunned, talked about, and outcast, all due to our standing strong in our beliefs in Christ. I say to you… Stand strong in your beliefs and don’t allow the worldly ways to sway you.

Be bold in all you do.  You need to focus on how you can demonstrate to customers that, no matter what goes on around the world, you can be trusted for who you are and for what you are. Mind you, trust isn’t something you can fake, you must be sincere. You must sincerely mean what you say and do!

There is no reason to be shy. As a fellow Christian I am not bashful about being a Christian. Those that know me do business with me because of what I stand for, (honesty, integrity, sincerity) not what I am.  I don’t shove my Christianity down my clients throats, yet my compassion shows when a client is having a hard time, needs to talk etc…

It’s all about being me! So be who you are regardless of where you’re at and who is there with you. God will Bless those that do not turn their back on Him. Whether it is business or personal, there is no distinction, our God is ready to bless and protect. So, be bold and be strong.

People are starving for relationships they can understand with people they can trust. Stand Strong in Your Beliefs! Bring it!

Don’t let the weekend blahs create your Monday blues

Monday is the one day that everyone seems to dread.

I say Let’s Make the Most of it!

Monday is the day you start your week, the day calls are made, appointments are set and the ground that the best week ever will be planted in! Or better yet, set appointments to start your week off right.

Don’t let the weekend blahs create your Monday blues.  Make Monday’s something you look forward to doing and not something you won’t be all that excited about. Set appointments on Monday to get you motivated for the week. Meeting new clients at lunch or over coffee is a great way to get in the swing for the week.

When you have something to look forward to, your day goes by much quicker than if you didn’t have anything to look forward to, that differs from the normal.  So why not start the week out with a positive.

Attitude really does make all the difference! Instead of thinking about how much you are dreading waking up early for work, try thinking about a positive quality of your job that you really enjoy, why not wake up with the excitement of a meeting with a potential new client and the blessings God has given you.

What a concept! Excited about Monday!

Have a blessed day and remember “All things are possible with God”

How To Have Happy Employee’s

Business managers must look for ways to be a blessing everyday. Greet those below you in a happy way and let them understand that, yes, you have a business to run but you are concerned for their welfare. Doing this will help you build a productive work force.

It is said that when the employee’s are happy and content in what they do, the productivity they produce excel’s. As Christians Business Owners, we set the standards of our environment. If we treat our employee’s with dignity and respect, the work happily. If we do not, then negativity and chaos runs rampant in the workforce.

Here are some suggestions for a happy work environment:

1. Create an atmosphere at work with meaning, purpose and value.  A valued employee is one who loves to come to work, who loves what they do, and will go to extremes to accomplish the task they are given.

2. Let your employee’s know that they are doing a good job.  Positive affirmations are always a plus to employee’s. Everyone likes hearing that they are appreciated for the work they do.  Thank you, good job, and keep up the good work are what makes an employee thrive to do all you ask of them.

3. Encourage employee’s to utilize their talents. Great idea’s come from many different avenues. You never know when one of your employee’s will have the next “big idea” unless you are asking them, including them, or listening to what the say. Always make time to listen. If it is not an idea you want to go with or a direction you want to go, you simply let them know how much you appreciate their input and let them know you will consider it.

4. Make the work environment a place of comfort and appeal. When your employee’s are happy, you are happy. Maybe you can provide some music, lightly in the background or allow them to listen to an online station. Maybe it is just making sure they have a good desk and chair. Or maybe it is small creature comforts like personal pictures on their desk. If they believe you care about them, this makes for a good work environment.

One of the things I do, I make sure I know about their families. I ask my employee’s how the family is, husband/wife, kids etc… and I make sure I ask about the employee as well. If an employee is having a hard time at home, chances are it will transfer to work. Once the door is open for negativity it becomes contagious.

If you know what frame of mind your employee’s are in, you can counter act any negative flow.  If you own a large company with many employee’s then your office manager, or assistants should be sharing in the duties of speaking to  employee’s daily.

I also want to say this, don’t be a doormat business owner that people will take advantage of because of your kindness. Be a strong leader, be Christian, and be the voice that they need. Employee’s need a strong leader, who can lead with a firm hand and the gentleness of God.

In Colossians 1:10 the Word of God tells us this:

I love people and I want them to be happy with me, but I don’t allow them to control me. I am led by the Holy Spirit.

Be a strong Christian spiritual leader and your business will prosper with the help of happy employee’s.

Got God?

I am growing and becoming strong in Spirit, filled with wisdom; and the grace (favor and spiritual blessing) of God is upon me. Luke 2:40

This was written by my 11 year old grand daughter Emily. She is showing much spiritual connection and wisdom way beyond her years, more than we see from many adults today.  I am the proud grandma and wanted to share this with others.

Her words touch the heart and the wisdom if just implimented in our world could change hearts one by one. From the mouth of babes comes a plea to let God into your life.  I love that God is using my beautiful grand child to send a message to the masses….. So I ask you…… are you ready yet?

Blessings and Love from my heart to yours.
