Religious differences are a fact of life and a very few people will be able to vote for the candidate who sits under the ministry of the same church. So, what are we to do?
We need to consider what we want in a President. I would think we should start with a man (or woman, someday perhaps) of character. If the person holding the highest office in the land does not have personal character, nothing he promises or attempts to do can be relied upon.
Experience and wisdom are two other characteristics essential in the leader of the free world. The current administration has shown that without them, everything just falls apart. The presidency is not a place for on the job training.
It’s time, as Christians to stand up for what you believe in and find your voice. We can’t keep quiet and expect this world as we know it to value our opinion.
If we remain quiet, we continue to lose everything we hold dear in life, including our freedom. As it is right now, anything to do with God is being eliminated from our country. More and more our right to pray at work, in school, at a sports event, in public is being stripped from us. And what are we doing… nothing! Absolutely nothing! We remain quiet and we complain about how unfair it is. But still through all the complaints we still remain silent to defend what we say is the most precious thing in our life.
The time has come for you to take a stand and fight for what you believe in. So if you do nothing… you give up the right to complain.
If you speak up and take action you have gained the right to say that God,and what you believe in, is important enough to fight for.
The choice is yours…. what if anything are you going to do?
